Employees have duties to protect their own and others' health and safety in the workplace.

Depending on the size of the workplace there are others who are involved in dealing with harassment and violence in the workplace.

Options When Harassment or Violence Occurs

As an employer providing people in the workplace with practical information about what to do if they have been harassed or witnessed harassment is one way to fulfill the duty to respond to incidents of harassment or violence.
