With funding from the Department of Justice Canada, PLEA has created online training for employees and employers on recognizing, preventing and addressing harassment in the workplace. This training includes information specific to workplace sexual harassment.
There is targeted training for employees and employers in both federally regulated and provincially regulated workplaces.
This online training is provided free-of-charge and participants who successfully complete the training will receive a certificate of completion.
This training is also available in print and can be ordered from plea.org free-of-charge.
Workplace harassment can be a hard topic for some people because of their experiences. A list of resources and services for people dealing with workplace harassment is included. Employers are encouraged to supplement it with any community or industry-specific supports they are aware of.
This training is for everyone in the workplace.
Employers, supervisors and managers need to know what is considered workplace harassment so they can recognize it, address it and prevent it.
